Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission in a 3-member commission responsible for overseeing the hiring, promotion, and disciplinary processes for certain municipal employees. The commission also handles appeals from employees regarding disciplinary actions or disputes related to employment decisions. Members serve 6-year terms. The Civil Service Commission will meet as needed subsequent to specific public notices.  Meetings are held at the Castle Shannon Municipal Center.
