UCC Board of Appeals

The Uniform Construction Code (UCC) Board of Appeals is a 3-member board that hears and decides appeals related to building codes and construction regulations. If a property owner, builder, or contractor disagrees with a decision made by a code official regarding compliance with the UCC, they can appeal to this board. The board reviews the case and determines whether the code was applied correctly or if an exception should be granted.
